Our care tips!
Orchids can produce flowers more than once a year. Important factors in achieving this are:
A place where the plant receives light but not full sun, is out of draughts, and is not near fruit.
Room temperature but not placed over a source of central heating.
Water the soil beneath the plant but not the plant itself. Or immerse the pot and drain once a week. The plant needs less water during the winter than during the summer. Never let the roots remain overly wet: orchids won’t like this!
Apply fertiliser once a month.
Once the flowers have died off, cut off the spike(s) just above the second or third eye from the bottom.
Not for human consumption.
